Mount Gongen is a 2715 m peak in the southern Yatsugatake mountains in Hokuto, Yamanashi, within Yatsugatake-Chushin Kogen Quasi-National Park. A route approaches from Tennyosan via Mitsugashira, with June to early October being the recommended hiking season.
