This return hike climbs from Tennyozan parking area through Amanogawara, Mae-Mitsugashira and Mitsugashira to the rocky summit of Gongendake in southern Yatsugatake. Mitsugashira opens broad views of Akadake, Amidadake and Amigasayama before the final steep rock slope and fixed-chain section.
