From Minotoguchi, this long circuit follows North Valley past Akadake Kōsen and Gyōja Hut, then climbs the ladder-and-chain sections of Jizō Ridge to Mount Akadake, the highest summit of the Yatsugatake range. It descends Bunzaburō Ridge to Gyōja Hut and returns through South Valley, combining two distinct valley approaches with steep alpine rock terrain.
