This return route climbs from Sakudaira to the 2,603 m summit of Mount Neishi via Natsuzawa Onsen, Oren Hut, Natsuzawa Pass and Mount Mikaburi. Between the onsen and Oren Hut, the trail follows a stream; from the pass it passes through a fir forest toward Mount Neishi. A gentle alpine saddle extends from the summit toward the Tengudake peaks.
