Maemitsugashira (2,365 m) is a peak on the southern ridge of the Yatsugatake leading up to Mount Gongen, located in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, within the Yatsugatake-Chushin Kogen Quasi-National Park. Reached in about three hours from the Tennyozan parking area, the open rocky knoll offers views of the South Alps and Mount Fuji before the trail continues over Mitsugashira to the summit of Gongen.
