Sun Meadows Kiyosato Ski Resort trail map
Sun Meadows Kiyosato sits on the eastern flank of Mt. Akadake in the Yatsugatake range, with slopes between about 1,600 m and 1,900 m. The area is known for clear skies, roughly 80% of days, and for views of Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps from the runs. Its nine courses lean toward beginners and intermediates, with wide gentle pistes plus a feature area for park riders. Families come for Skids Camp, a large school for preschool and primary-age children, and the Snow Land sledding slope. It is about 20 minutes from the Nagasaka exit of the Chuo Expressway, and in summer the summit becomes the Kiyosato Terrace viewpoint.
