Mount Ushikubi is a 2280.1 m wooded peak on the ridge extending southeast from Akadake in the Yatsugatake mountains, in Kiyosato, Hokuto, Yamanashi. From Utsukushimori, the trail passes Hagoromo Pond and Sai-no-Kawara before climbing steeply through forest to the triangulation point. Beyond the peak, the ridge continues over Ogiyama and through a series of chain-assisted rock sections to Akadake, forming a demanding route for experienced hikers.
