権現小屋

Small mountain hut at 2,700m directly below Gongendake in the southern Yatsugatake range. It has never had electricity and is lit only by oil lamps. Facing the hut, across the Kamanashi River, stand the ranks of the Southern Alps; to the west are the Northern Alps and to the north the peaks of Yatsugatake. The curry served at dinner was something the keeper took particular care over. It is about five hours from the Kannondaira trailhead by the contouring path, or five hours twenty minutes from Tennyozan. It sleeps 40. Run by the same family as Seinen Goya, but it has been closed for several seasons and is not operating in 2026 either.
