Fujimi Panorama Resort is a gondola-served ski area on the eastern face of Mt. Nyukasa, known for a 3 km top-to-bottom cruise from 1,780 m and a front-row view of the Yatsugatake range, with Mt. Fuji visible on clear days. The area is often sunny, and it has seven slopes, from gentle cruising at the summit to the 29-degree "Linden Wall", plus spring mogul lanes. A separate family slope with slow lifts and a kids' park with sledding sits at the base. It is only minutes from the Suwa-Minami exit of the Chuo Expressway, making it an easy day trip from Tokyo, and the season usually runs into early April.
