Moriyasan Higashimine (East Peak) is the 1,631 m eastern summit of Mount Moriya (whose western high point reaches about 1,650 m), on the Ina–Suwa border in Nagano. The east peak of Moriya—a "Shinshu 100 Famous Mountain"—holds the inner shrine of Moriya Shrine and is famed for sweeping views of the Central, Southern, and Northern Alps, the Yatsugatake, and Lake Suwa. The Tsuetsuki Pass route is the usual approach. It appears in "350 Mountains around Tokyo."
