Niseko Ski Resorts trail map
Niseko United is the shared name for four ski areas on Mount Niseko-Annupuri in Hokkaido - Grand Hirafu, HANAZONO, Niseko Village and Annupuri - famous worldwide for deep, light powder. One all-mountain pass covers all four, which link near the summit and are also joined by shuttle buses. Grand Hirafu is the largest and liveliest, with night skiing and a busy village; HANAZONO is known for tree skiing and luxury hotels; Niseko Village offers family-oriented resort facilities; Annupuri is quieter with views of Mount Yotei. Off-piste access follows the 'Niseko Rules', which allow leaving the area only through gates. The season runs from late November to early May, and buses from New Chitose Airport take about 2.5 to 3.5 hours.
