HANAZONO NISEKO trail map
HANAZONO NISEKO is the easternmost area of Niseko United, next to Grand Hirafu on the slopes of Mount Niseko-Annupuri, and is famous for Niseko's light powder. Highlights include the ungroomed Legend of Shinya run, tree skiing and a two-line terrain park, while beginners get gentle runs from the gondola mid-station and a 2.7 km cruising trail. Family facilities are strong, with a kids' club and childcare, and luxury hotels such as Park Hyatt Niseko HANAZONO sit right on the slopes. There is also a long menu of snowmobile, cat-skiing and guided backcountry tours. A shared ticket covers Grand Hirafu, the all-mountain pass covers all four Niseko areas, and direct shuttles from New Chitose Airport take about two and a half hours.
