Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort trail map
Niseko Moiwa sits on 839 m Mt. Moiwa in Niseko town, the Niseko ski area closest to the sea, and is known for creamy powder and uncrowded slopes. Its history goes back to 1919. Three lifts serve eight courses, including the 2 km Sky course with views of Mt. Yotei, the Shirakaba course for birch tree runs and the expert Giant course, plus the gentle Fairy Tale run and a kids' sledding park for beginners. The school offers mainly private lessons in Japanese or English, and off-piste access through gates follows the Niseko Rules. The season runs from late November to early April, about 10 minutes by taxi from Niseko Station.

Backcountry
The Niseko Rules apply: leave the ski area only through the gates, never under ropes or when gates are closed, carry a helmet and avalanche beacon, and stay out of the closed Yunosawa and Harunotaki zones.
