Iwaonupuri's North Peak is a 1,112 m summit just north of the active volcano Iwaonupuri (1,116 m) in the Niseko range, in Kutchan. It shares the volcano's bare, rugged summit terrain and is easily climbed from Goshiki Onsen on the Niseko Town side. It lies within Niseko-Shakotan-Otaru Quasi-National Park. Slopes of volcanic ash and gravel can be difficult to navigate in fog.
