Kyogoku Town Ski Area is a small community slope run by the town of Kyogoku, in the Misaki district at the foot of Mount Yotei. A single hand-held tow lift serves a gentle hill suited to children and beginners, and the town lends practice gates on request. Next to the car park there is a staff hut and a heated rest room. On weekdays the lift runs in the late afternoon and evening, with daytime sessions at weekends and holidays and evening sessions on weekdays and Saturdays. The season normally runs from late December into early March, although opening can slip when snow is short.
