Pyramid Peak is a sharp rock summit of about 2,750 metres (sometimes given as 2,771 m) on the ridge running south from Mount Nishihotaka in the southern Northern Alps. Set between Nishiho-Doppyo and Mount Nishihotaka on the boundary of Takayama City (Gifu) and Matsumoto City (Nagano), it lies within Chubu-Sangaku National Park, where the rocky crest beyond Nishiho-Doppyo is for experienced climbers. It is listed in "350 Mountains Around Tokyo."
