Mt. Narusawadake is a 2,641 m peak on the Toyama-Nagano prefectural border between Tateyama Town and Ōmachi City, lying within Chūbu-Sangaku National Park on the main Ushiro-Tateyama ridge between Mt. Akasawa and Mt. Iwakoyazawa. The Shin-Etsu Sansō hut sits in the col just south of the summit, and the peak is most often crossed as part of a multi-day Ōgisawa-based loop traverse: up the Harinoki Snow Gully and over Mts. Harinoki, Subari and Akasawa, an overnight at Shin-Etsu, then on across Narusawadake, Iwakoyazawa and Jīgatake and down the Kashiwabara trail back to Ōgisawa.
