Kashimayari Ski Resort Family Park trail map
Kashimayari Ski Resort Family Park is the southernmost area of Hakuba Valley, below Mount Kashimayari in Omachi, Nagano. It is known for almost no lift queues, which makes it a favourite of local skiers who want laps rather than crowds. Beginner and advanced terrain are laid out on separate lines, so learners can practise calmly while stronger skiers attack pitches up to 38 degrees on Course 5-C. A 4.1 km long run descends to the Nakatsuna base, and there are forest trails and the DSP terrain park. Kids are well served by the Pokémon Snow Adventure play area, and a hotel with a large bath sits on the slopes. Free shuttles run from Shinano-Omachi Station, and the Hakuba Valley pass is valid.
