Mount Kotomi (2,007 m) rises at the eastern end of the Toumi Ridge leading to Mount Goryu in Hakuba Village (Kita-Azumi District), Nagano Prefecture. Reached in about an hour on foot from the top of the Hakuba Goryu Telecabine at Alpine Plain, the peak offers panoramic views of Mount Goryu, Mount Kashimayari and the Happo-one ridge. It lies within Chubu Sangaku National Park and is included in the Sancho-eki-kara Higashi-Nihon and other ridge-station mountain selections.
