Jigatake Snow Resort trail map
Jigatake Snow Resort sits at the southern tip of the Hakuba Valley in Omachi, Nagano, and is built for families and first-timers, with broad, mostly gentle slopes. The open Echo main slope is easy to read, the Kamoshika run stretches 1.5 km, and there are a wooded trail, the Poluru intro tree run and the steeper Raicho and Rabbit runs for intermediates. A large Kids Park adds a sledding hill, the Troika sleigh lift and tubing, and four schools teach, some in English and Chinese. Night skiing runs on Fridays and Saturdays, snowmaking helps an early start in mid-December, and the season lasts to late March. Omachi Onsen village is ten minutes away by car, and free shuttles come from Shinano-Omachi Station.
