Jandarumu (Le Gendarme) is a 3,163 m rock peak in the Hotaka range of the Northern Alps, on the border of Nagano and Gifu prefectures. Rising as a striking dome southwest of Mount Oku-Hotaka, it is a crux of the technical rock traverse between Mount Nishi-Hotaka and Mount Oku-Hotaka, with the jagged 'Donkey's Ears' and 'Horse's Back' ridges to its north. Named after a cliff on the Swiss Eiger, it lies within Chūbu Sangaku National Park.
