Manza Onsen Ski Resort trail map
Manza Onsen Ski Resort sits at about 1,800 m in Tsumagoi, Gunma, long nicknamed "powder snow Manza" for its light, dry snow and paired with the milky, sulphur-rich water of Manza Onsen. The Prince slopes run right up to the Manza Prince Hotel, children of elementary-school age ride the lifts free, and the Manza Snow Field gives small kids a play area, so it suits families well. Higher up, the Panorama slopes, the ungroomed Manzayama area and a mogul run add terrain for stronger skiers. After a 2024 cable theft cut operations back for two seasons, all runs are due to reopen in 2026-27. Access is by toll road in winter, or by bus from Manza-Kazawaguchi or Karuizawa station.
