Omote Manza Snow Park spreads across the southwest flank of Mount Motoshirane in Tsumagoi, Gunma. Kokudo opened it in 1984 as Omote Manza Ski Area, with long runs of up to 3,200 m dropping from 2,130 m to 1,550 m, served by a hooded quad and pair chairlifts. The altitude gave it dry snow and views toward Mount Asama, but also bitter cold and wind that could halt the long lifts. Ownership passed from Prince Hotels to Winter Garden Resorts and then Suzuki Shokai, and it took its current name in 2007. It has been closed for business since the 2011-12 season, citing the economy; most lifts and buildings still stand, and its website vanished in 2021.
