Hotel Village Mori no Ski Area is the small private slope of Hotel Village, an onsen resort hotel in Kusatsu, Gunma, and it was also open to day visitors. Gentle and aimed at beginners and families, it had snowmaking and served hotel guests taking their first turns on skis or a snowboard. The hotel's current winter information covers courtyard sledding, snowshoeing and gear rental, and points skiers to Kusatsu Onsen Ski Resort about five minutes away by car, with a winter shuttle bus.
