Palcall Tsumagoi sits on the eastern flank of Mt. Azumaya in Gunma, and its signature is the 3,193 m Tsumagoi Gondola, the longest in the Kanto region, which climbs to a 2,100 m summit with wide views toward Mt. Asama. On Wednesdays, weekends and holidays a sunrise gondola lets early risers watch dawn from the top before the first run. Most of the 22 runs are long, gentle cruisers, and the wide Baragi area suits families and first-timers, while ONI PARK serves freestyle riders. A hotel sits right on the slopes with ski-in/ski-out access and a large bath. High altitude and snowmaking give a season from early December to early April; most guests drive in via Karuizawa.
