Kazawa Snow Area trail map

Kazawa Snow Area sits high on the north face of Mount Nabebuta, off Mount Yunomaru in Tsumagoi, Gunma, between about 1,350 and 1,850 m. Altitude and snowmaking let it open in late November, and it is a regular venue for race training and ski competitions. Five pair chairlifts serve a compact set of runs, from the 34-degree Center slope to the gentle 1,000 m Relief runs, with moguls on the scenic Light A slope and a dedicated kids' slope. Day-use baths at Kazawa Onsen are close by. It is about 25 km from Komoro IC on the Joshinetsu Expressway.
