Takamine Mountain Park trail map
Takamine Mountain Park, known until 2022 as Asama 2000 Park, sits on the Takamine plateau at about 2,000 m on the Asama range. The altitude gives dry snow and a long season that runs from late November into mid-April, early and late for a resort within reach of Tokyo. Six runs, from gentle beginner slopes to a 22-degree advanced run, are served by three double chairs and one quad. A children's snow play area and hotels next to the slopes make it practical for families. In winter it is reached only from the Komoro side via the Cherry Park Line, and a bus runs from Sakudaira Station.
