Karuizawa Snow Park trail map
Karuizawa Snow Park is a family-oriented ski area at about 1,300 m in Kita-Karuizawa, Naganohara, Gunma, with Mt. Asama straight ahead. Six courses range from a beginner slope with a snow escalator and a wide 980 m cruiser to a 32-degree run opened only in deep snow. Its long jet tubing run, a kids' park with sleds, snow striders and bouncy inflatables, and a snow dog run make it easy for non-skiers and dog owners to spend the day too. Free kids' room, childcare and children's ski schools are on hand, and the adjoining ANA Holiday Inn Resort Karuizawa has hot-spring baths. A free shuttle runs from Karuizawa Station by reservation, and parking is free.
