Mt. Komatsumine

Mt. Komatsumine is a 2,752 m peak on the Yamanashi-Nagano prefectural border between Hokuto City and Ina City, lying within Minami Alps National Park as the southeast outpost of Mt. Kai-Komagatake. It serves as the "sixth station" on the climb of Kai-Komagatake from Kitazawa Pass, with the routes via Futagoyama and via Senzui Pass joining at its summit; the open crest offers close views of the rocky main summit and Mt. Senjō opposite, and a clear sightline toward Mt. Fuji to the east. The peak is included on the Japan Top 100 High Mountains list.
