The second building of Shichijo Goya, at 2,400m on the seventh station of the Kuroto ridge, the classic front approach to Kaikomagatake. It stands right beside the first building, and the two are run together as a single hut. The Kuroto ridge climbs some 2,200m from the Ojiragawa Valley trailhead to the 2,967m summit — one of the longest ascents in Japan — and Shichijo Goya is the only hut anywhere along it. Both the Ojiragawa Valley and Yokote Komagatake-jinja trailheads have free parking about twenty minutes from the Kobuchizawa or Sutama interchanges, and taxis take 20–30 minutes from Kobuchizawa, Nagasaka or Hinoharu stations. The two buildings together sleep 24, strictly by reservation, with bedding provided and both dinner and breakfast served. Drinking water comes from a tap in front of the hut, and the shop sells beer and spirits, soft drinks, cup noodles and original goods. The campsite needs no booking. The hut opens in winter as well as through the summer season.
