Mt. Futagoyama

Mt. Futagoyama is a 2,649 m peak on the Yamanashi-Nagano prefectural border between Hokuto City and Ina City, lying within Minami Alps National Park southwest of Mt. Kai-Komagatake on the ridge from Kitazawa Pass to the main summit. It serves as the "fourth station" of the standard loop from Kitazawa Pass over Futagoyama and Mt. Komatsumine to Mt. Kai-Komagatake; the rocky upper section opens broad views back to Kitazawa Pass and the surrounding alps once above the tree line.
