Kamabuchi Mori-no-koshi Ski Area Closed

Kamabuchi Mori-no-koshi was a small local slope in the Kamabuchi district of Mamurogawa, northern Yamagata, beside Prefectural Road 192 about 2 km south of Kamabuchi Station on the Ou Line. It had a single simple rope tow, and the slope was in place by the 1980s. The ski area has since closed; the slope is overgrown, though a building still stands near the base and a ski-area sign remains by the road.
