Mount Sentōboshi

Mount Sentōboshi is a 2,138.5 m peak on the border of Nirasaki City and Minami-Alps City in Yamanashi, forming the northern end of the Hōō ridge that fronts the main Southern Alps. The summit itself is forested with limited views, but the approach ridge — broad bamboo grass meadows — opens onto vistas of Mount Fuji, the Hōō Sanzan, Yatsugatake, and the Kōfu Basin. Most parties combine it with neighbouring Mount Amari, and it is listed in Yamanashi Hyakumeizan.
