Mitsudake (2,844 m) stands on the main ridge of the Hida Range (Northern Alps), straddling the boundary between Toyama City and Ōmachi City just south of Mount Eboshi and north of Mount Noguchi-Gorō. Lying within Chūbu-Sangaku National Park, it is a waypoint on the famed Ura-Ginza traverse reached from Eboshi Hut after the steep Buna-tate ridge, and is listed on the Nihon Hyakkōzan (Hundred Highest Peaks of Japan).
