A 2,488 m shoulder peak on the Kassen Ridge between Nakabusa Onsen and Mt. Tsubakurodake, in Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture. Sitting just above the Kassen Hut on one of the Northern Alps' 'three steepest ascents', it marks the start of the Omote-Ginza traverse leading via Mt. Tsubakuro and Mt. Otensho to Mt. Yari. The peak lies within Chūbu Sangaku National Park.
