A mountain lodge in the Takase Valley of the Northern Alps, near the confluence of the Yumata and Minamata rivers. It is about a 2.5-hour walk along the Takase River from Takase Dam. The lodge is a staging point for demanding routes such as Ito Shindo and the Kitakama Ridge, as well as for exploring the area's hot-spring mound and wild springs.
