A 2,567.3 m peak in the Yatsugatake range in Chino City, Nagano, sitting on a side ridge that juts west from Mt. Iō. The conifer-clad summit gives little view, but it is reached in a short detour from the Oren-goya/Akaiwa-no-atama junction and is a popular side-trip on circuits from Sakura-daira. It is sometimes counted among the eight summits of "Yatsugatake" and lies within Yatsugatake-Chūshin Kōgen Quasi-National Park.
