Morioka City Oide Ski Area is a small municipal hill in the Tamayama district in the north of Morioka, Iwate. It has a rope tow and a pony lift on a gentle slope suited to beginners' practice, plus floodlights for low-cost night skiing. A centre house and a snow-play zone make it a local spot where children learn to ski and go sledding. It usually opens from early January to early March and closes on Mondays. In the 2025-26 season lift operation ended in late January after a lift breakdown.
