Annandaira Ski Area Closed
Official name 安南平スキー場
Nagano
Open 1980–1986
Annandaira Ski Area was on the west slope of Mt. Bodera in southern Shiga Kogen, Yamanouchi, Nagano, and was the lowest ski area in Shiga Kogen. Planned in the 1960s as Shiga Holiday Valley, it opened in 1980 after the rights passed to Kitano Construction, and was also known as Shiga Village 1200. Two single chairlifts served three main runs from beginner to advanced, and a shuttle ran from Yudanaka Station. It closed after only a few seasons in the mid-1980s. The lifts were removed, and remains of the lodge and restaurant buildings still stand at the foot of the slope, reached by a poorly kept forest road.
