Sasayama North Peak (also called Kurogōchidake) is a 2,733 m summit straddling Hayakawa Village in Yamanashi Prefecture and Shizuoka City, the northern of the twin peaks of Sasayama. Lying within Minami Alps National Park on the southern Shirane ridge, it is reached from Nōtoridake to the north or by the strenuous Sasayama Direct Ridge from Narada Onsen. It is one of Japan's 100 Highest Peaks and is regarded as one of the "Four Heavenly Kings" of the Yamanashi 100 Mountains for its difficulty.
