Mt. Sannouboushisan is a 2,077 m peak in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture, one of the volcanic peaks of the Nikko range within Nikko National Park. It sits on the ridge connecting to Mt. Taro across Sanno Pass; the summit is wrapped in Veitch's fir and offers limited views, but the route is a quiet ridge traverse en route to Taro. The standard approaches start from Kotoku or from the Sanno Pass parking lot reached via the Sanno Forest Road. The peak is included in the Tochigi Prefecture mountains guidebook, the Tokyo-area 350 Mountains, the Kanto Day-Hike 60, Zoku Shizukanaru Yama, and the 642 Mountains over 2000 m.
