Nikko Yumoto-Onsen Ski Park trail map
Nikko Yumoto-Onsen Ski Park sits at the foot of Mount Nikko-Shirane in Oku-Nikko, right next to the sulphur hot springs of Yumoto Onsen. Skiing here dates back to the early Showa era. Three pair chairlifts serve four mostly gentle runs, including a beginner tree-lined trail off the No. 3 lift and an almost flat snow park for small children, so it suits families, beginners and school ski trips. The Nikko Yumoto Lodge at the bottom has food, rentals and the SAJ ski school. After skiing, the cloudy sulphur baths of Yumoto are a short walk away. The season runs from late December to March, with buses from Tobu-Nikko Station.
