Oze Hinoemata Onsen Ski Area is a small village-run hill beside Route 352, across the river from the hot-spring village of Hinoemata, the gateway to Oze. Its north-facing slope holds light, dry powder and looks straight at Mt. Aizu-Komagatake. Two pair lifts serve two demanding runs: one side is a steep deep-snow slope, and the other is used for alpine gate training, so racers and ski clubs come here for races and camps. The Alza Oze no Sato hot-spring and pool complex sits just across from the base.
