Hodaigi Ski Resort trail map
Hodaigi Ski Resort covers the slopes of Mount Hodaigi at Fujiwara in Minakami, Gunma, between about 830 and 1,400 m. Its altitude brings plenty of snow: the 40-degree Eagle run and the ungroomed Downhill and Paradise runs hold deep powder, and there is a tree-run area and up to three terrain parks. At the same time the long, gentle Family slope, a fenced Kids Land with a snow escalator and a heated nursery make it a favourite with families. The top of the Narudaira run looks out over Mount Tanigawa and the peaks along the Gunma-Niigata border. It belongs to the POWDER 5 Gunma pass with Kawaba, Marunuma, Oze-Iwakura and Oguna, and is about 30 minutes from Minakami IC.

Backcountry
Out-of-bounds areas marked on the map are closed; anyone entering them for winter mountaineering must file a climbing plan with the ski patrol. The tree-run area requires a helmet and a charged phone, at the skier's own risk.
