White Valley Minakami is a small ski area near Tanigawa Onsen in Minakami, Gunma, opened in 1962 as the Tanigawa Onsen White Valley ski ground. Two pair chairlifts set in a dog-leg serve a compact hill, but much of the terrain is steep, up to 35 degrees, and after fresh snow most of the upper slopes are left ungroomed for powder fans. It lies about 7 km from the Minakami IC on the Kan-Etsu Expressway. The area will not open for the 2026-27 season while equipment is renewed.
