A steep ridge route up Tanigawadake, with rocky sections and chains above a beech forest. The trail remains wooded as far as Rakuda-no-se; beyond it, clear weather brings close views of Toma-no-mimi and Oki-no-mimi. The route is unsuitable for descent.
