Mount Okura (Okurayama, 307 m) rises in Miyanomori, Chūō Ward of Sapporo, and is counted among the Sapporo 50 Mountains. Its summit hosts the Ōkurayama Ski Jump Stadium, the large-hill venue of the 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympics, whose observation lounge offers a sweeping view over central Sapporo to Ishikari Bay. Foot trails such as the 'Path of Philosophy' link it with the adjacent Mount Sankaku, forming one of the most popular low-mountain hiking circuits in the city.
