Minamidake

南岳

Minamidake is a 2,702 m peak on the main ridge of the southern Southern Alps in Aoi Ward, Shizuoka City, between Hijiridaira and Kamikochidake. A waypoint on the ridge, it lies near patterned ground formed by freeze–thaw cycles, within Minami Alps National Park. Large alpine flower meadows follow the double ridge toward Kamikochidake.
