Hut at about 1,620m in the forest along Yokokubozawa in Tashiro, Aoi Ward, Shizuoka, in the southern Southern Alps. It stands roughly four hours in from the Hatanagi suspension bridge and has long served as a resting place for walkers heading from the Hatanagi No.1 Dam toward Chausudake and Tekaridake. The Ikawa Tourism Association describes it as available for use as an emergency shelter: it does not take paying overnight guests and no bedding is rented. There is a toilet outside. Sitting just below the steep climb that leads up to Chausu-goya, it is the natural midpoint of a long approach.
