Yoshikawa Ski Area Closed

Yoshikawa was a small ski hill in the Yoshikawa district just south of central Nishikawa, Yamagata. From a base of about 205 m it had a single rope tow and offered night skiing. It has closed and the tow has been removed, but the slope, still known as the former Yoshikawa ski area, is used for snow play such as children's winter camps.
